This Privacy Policy describes how Yardcore (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our websites, use our applications, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the “Service”). • Account and profile: name, email address, password (stored securely), business name, and other details you add to your profile or organization settings.
• Billing: payment-related information is processed by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We may receive limited billing identifiers and subscription status, not full card numbers stored on our servers.
• Content you submit: customer records, job and schedule data, invoices, messages, landing page content, lead form submissions, and files you upload.
• Communications: messages you send to support or that we send to you about the Service.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, general location, pages viewed, and timestamps to operate and secure the Service and understand usage.
• Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies or local storage as needed for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Information from third parties

If you sign in through a third-party identity provider (such as Google or Apple) or connect integrations, we may receive information from that provider according to your settings and their policies.

Analytics on organization landing pages

Landscaping businesses ("organizations") that use Yardcore may configure a Google Analytics tracking ID in their account settings. When an end customer visits that organization's landing page or customer portal, Google Analytics may collect data about the visit on behalf of the organization. This tracking is controlled by the organization, not Yardcore, and is subject to Google's privacy policy. If you are an organization user, you are responsible for providing appropriate disclosures to your customers about any analytics tools you enable.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• Create and manage your account and process payments;
• Send transactional messages (for example, invoices, receipts, security alerts, and service notices) and, where you have not opted out, occasional product updates or marketing communications from Yardcore;
• Respond to support requests and communicate about updates or policies;
• Monitor and analyze usage to improve performance and user experience;
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

You may opt out of non-transactional marketing emails from Yardcore by clicking the unsubscribe link in any such email or by contacting us at privacy@yardcore.io. Opting out does not affect transactional messages necessary to provide the Service (such as invoices or account alerts).

3. How we share information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: vendors who assist us with hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, payment processing (including Stripe for platform subscriptions), and security, bound by contractual obligations.
• Stripe Connect (organization payment processing): when you use Yardcore to collect payments from your customers, those transactions are processed through a Stripe Connect account associated with your organization. Your customers' payment information is submitted directly to Stripe under Stripe's privacy policy. Yardcore does not store full payment card numbers; we receive only limited identifiers (such as a Stripe customer ID and transaction status) necessary to operate the billing features.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users, Yardcore, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice as required by law.
• With your direction: when you integrate third-party services or ask us to share data.

We do not sell your personal information as defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing the Service as permitted by law.

4. Your data and your customers’ data

When you use Yardcore to manage your own customers or leads, you control the business data you enter. We process that data on your behalf to provide the Service. You are responsible for providing appropriate notices to your end users where required and for obtaining any necessary consents.

5. Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary based on data type and legal requirements.

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
